Kids Love Nature have decided to support Peter Thompson, a good friend of MD, Ben Walliman in his 2018 challenge to raise awareness and money for the charities MIND and Livability Holton Lee.

What does Peter’s challenge involve?

Peter will be running an incredible and astonishing 2069 in 70 days, that’s 30 miles every single day as he runs the Tour de France!

His challenge is starting on the 19th May, and you can learn more about Peter and the journey he’s already been on via his Facebook page here.

How will Kids Love Nature be helping?

Kids Love Nature have decided to sponsor two stages of his Tour de France challenge (numbers 6 and 7) which helps to cover his costs and donate money to his charities. These two stages will take him 8 days to run and he aims to do these from 3rd to the 10th June.

We are going to get into the spirit of his adventure by holding a Charity Challenge beginning on Monday 4th June 2018.

Supporting Livability

Collectively, all our kindergartens, throughout that week will be walking and running around their Kindergartens to reach 2069 miles.  We will then be completing the final miles in a family fun walk at the Avon Heath Country Park on Saturday 9th June.

Read more about our family fun walk here.

How can I show my support?

If you would like to donate to Peter’s chosen charities, then staff at each of our kindergartens will be collecting donations, we are hoping to raise £2069 for Peter!

Alternatively, you can show your support by attending our family fun walk on the 9th June, anything you can do will really be appreciated by Peter.

Following Peter’s journey will help to keep his spirits high as he takes on this challenge for some amazing charities.
