Why are we supporting Peter?
How are Kids Love Nature Kindergartens going to support Peter?
We have sponsored two stages of his Tour de France (numbers 6 and 7) which helps to cover his costs and donate money to his charities. These two stages will take him 8 days to run and he aims to do these from 3rd to the 10th June (if all goes to plan on previous stages!!).
We are also going to get into the spirit of his adventure by holding a Charity Challenge beginning on Monday 4th June 2018.
What is our challenge going to be?
Collectively, we (children, families and Kids Love Nature staff across all four Kindergartens plus the central team) are going to attempt to walk/run 2069 miles over the week, culminating in a family event at Avon Heath Country Park on Saturday 9th to complete the final miles! We will also aim to collectively raise £2069 to donate to Peter’s charities.
Family and friends event Saturday 9th June 2018
Starting at Avon Heath Country Park at 10am on Saturday 9th June, families and friends are encouraged to help us complete the challenge by walking or running a 0.7 mile loop through this beautiful heathland. With a drinks and feed station set up outside the kindergarten, we will cheer you on and convince you to do just one more loop! All money you raise through sponsorship will go towards our aim of raising at least £2069 for the great charities Peter is supporting.
Look out for more information, sponsorship forms and how your child can be involved at your Kids Love Nature Kindergarten or speak to one of the team. We hope you can join us to help complete our challenge!
