On Saturday 23rd June 2018, we opened the doors to our new Lytchett Minster Kindergarten and welcomed families to our first open day.
We had a great turnout with over 60 families attending and the weather was definitely on our side! Children enjoyed our outdoor and indoor spaces whilst parents were shown around the kindergarten and chatted to members of our team including our new Manager, and Managing Directors, Ben Walliman and Alex Shepherd.
The kindergarten will be opening in September and will cater for 1- 5 year olds. Although we are still going through major renovations, it provided an opportunity for the families to have a first look at the new kindergarten including the dining area, art room, classrooms and sleep zones for the younger ones.
We are still in the process of finishing the outdoor areas in time for the opening in September, however, the giant sandpit was definitely a firm favourite amongst the children that attended. Our own little beach in Lytchett Minster!
Our aim was to ensure that all parents that attended our open day could learn about the Kids Love Nature approach. We want children to have a strong connection to nature, and because of this like to make sure that there are plenty of places to explore both inside and out. We are also lucky enough to have collaborated with a great charity called Sustainable Food City, which will allow children to develop the nearby polytunnels, ponds and orchard on a daily basis.
Giving children the freedom to make their own choices builds confidence and independence which is an important lesson taught at all our Kids Love Nature kindergartens. We like parents to encourage this out of the kindergarten environment too.
I missed the open day, can I still visit?
Yes of course! As the kindergarten is not yet open, we ask that you arrange an appointment to come and visit by calling us on 01202 622337. One of the team would then be more than happy to show you around and explain a bit more about the Kids Love Nature approach and answer any questions you may have.

Enrolment is open regardless of if you attended our open day or not. The process to enrol will take you around 15 minutes but we are filling up quickly, so please click here to enrol your child.
